  Polo Martinez with his debut as a solo artist. He has been a local Sacramento musician for many years working with bands such as Suenos. and most recently a touring member of the legendary band, Malo.
  
  "Mi Chicanita", a long awaited release has hints of the old Malo style blended with the Suenos sound, yet Polo does well forming his own identity on this new single. Written by Mr. Martinez and produced by Frank Lizarraga for Lovetaxi Productions and mastered at J. Intel's Omina Laboratories in Sacramento, California.
  
  The flipside, "Chicanita Suite", a great track for the summertime Lowriders cruising the parks and boulevards all over Aztlan and beyond. An instrumental, reminiscent to the El Chicano sound of East LA.
  
  The entire record pays huge respect to all the estilos blended together. Retro yet contemporary, as the track is very relevant to the current Lowriding explosion in California that has taken an entirely different direction, including multi-generational family outings in an all inclusive environment.
